As Black unemployment rises across the nation reaching numbers that more than double the percentage of unemployed whites, there are several major cities where Black unemployment is rising the fastest.

In record numbers, they’re struggling to find work, shunning long-distance moves to live with mom and dad, delaying marriage and raising kids out of wedlock, if they’re becoming parents at all.

Should the government help people in these tough financial times? A poll by the Gallup Organization released Tuesday morning shows that people who strongly believe that God has a plan for them are less willing than others to have the government send checks to able-bodied, unemployed Americans.
