Rance Allen passed away Saturday, October 31 as he was recovering from a medical procedure in Sylvania, Ohio. He leaves behind an incredible legacy in faith and gospel.

Allen, who rose to gospel fame as a member of The Rance Allen Group, was known for a string of hits such as "Miracle Worker," "Something About The Name Jesus" and more.

The Rance Allen Group is known for their unique incorporation of rock and soul into traditional black gospel music and is one of the most explosive groups to emerge from the legendary Stax Records label in the 1970s.
