After several weeks in try-out mode, and being dissed by “real” journalists, Rev. Al Sharpton has been tapped to be a permanent host/newscaster on MSNBC weeknights. His program is called “PoliticsNation” and will air 6 p.m. Eastern time and it premieres next Monday.
For years, the civil rights activist has shared his opinion in politics along with leading coalitions against injustices. He calls it “a natural extension of my life work and growth.”
