Angela Taylor-Wilson They are trying to hard to become American Idol…this is Sunday’s Best, which should just focus on gospel music/genre; all this making them sing this style and that style, isn’t necessary, and to me, it’s time to get new judges as well.

Kyndra Snoddy No, I am so upset. I love Andrea but I really believe Amber and Michael should have been the ones left standing..I really don’t even want to watch the show next week, lol!

Kyndra Snoddy Its like the people that actually SING GOSPEL get the short end of the stick…its like they’re conveying this unwritten message that “no one wants to hear traditional gospel anymore”. The people that seem to have the “jazziest” voice with the most rifts and runs seems to be the ones that get ahead. But the people that clearly have “annointed church voices” get screwed. Gospel is becoming more and more secular with each passing day. I’m really mad right now, lol! I can’t believe they sent Michael Pugh home.

Christina Chrissypoo Anderson No! I came to the conclusion, that they are looking for more in the gospel industry which is leaning toward a mixture of r&b and gospel vs just being anointed. I have been taught the anointed destroy the yokes and set the broken free. Without the anointing of God, there is no way out. Point 2. I also believe that mama sue and Michael will be on somebodies album real soon. So that is not the last of them. Like I said, they want a mixture for today audience, but how many know that it is the God and the anointing within the. That will actually get the message across, not just how they deliever it. Smh. Some of this music shouldn’t even be out on records. I am speaking in the gospel industry. Gospel music should not have a mixture of jazz sounding like they are in a club. Gods not please. If he gave you the gift to sing use it for his glory and not the world, for he will take it and give it to someone else.

Shalanda Randall No they didn’t get it right…however I am appalled about some the comments. Seems to me the focus should be on the message and your own personal relationship with God not someone’s chosen outfit or singing style. Hopefully as christians we respect each other’s differences. If someone was standing in judgment of you what would they find wrong with you?

Tomyka LaRue-Wimberley because that’s the kind of God we serve. He doesn’t MAKE us do anything. HOWEVER, some “christian folks” CHOOSE to be more worldly than the world which makes them WORDLY!!! That’s in outfits, singing, etc. We are merely commenting on a so called CHRISTIAN TALENT TV SHOW that is seemingly becoming more worldly every season.
