Tropical Storm Don Edges Closer To South Texas

HOUSTON — Tropical Storm Don set its sights on south Texas Friday as it churned in the Gulf of Mexico for a late-night landfall.
At 10 a.m. Friday, the National Hurricane Center said Don was moving west-northwest at 14 mph and was about 190 miles southeast of Corpus Christi. It was located at 26.2 north and 94.9 west.
