News release from HCSO:

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with Shred-It to help citizens permanently destroy old or unwanted personal documents.

Folks interested in participating in the effort to help prevent identity theft can bring their old documents to have them shredded. The HCSO, in collaboration with Shred-It, will provide this service free of charge on Saturday, November 6 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Cypresswood HCSO substation located at 6831 Cypresswood.
