For Tony Dungy, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach who has spent his career in the National Football League, Sundays have been about football for many years.
Tony Dungy and the Rev. Abe Brown discuss prison ministry in 2007, the year Brown retired as pastor of First Baptist Church of College Hill. Dungy and his family attended Brown’s church when they moved to Tampa, and the two men became friends.
