In-N-Out is topping Love Food’s 2025 list of America’s best fast food burger chain. The California-based chain beat out 41 other U.S. restaurants to secure the top spot despite being relegated to the western region of the country. Steak ‘n Shake, Shake Shack, Tucker’s Onion Burger and Habit Burger and Grill respectively made the top five. According to journalist Luke Paton, the list was tabulated based on the enduring popularity of each chain and the opinions of “well-traveled” members of the Love Food’s team.
