Houston Area Begins Slow Recovery From Catastrophic Harvey Storm Damage

Lakewood Church has announced that they are closing its services this weekend to the public due to the public health emergency declaration in Houston. Instead, they will be broadcasting events online.

TMZ originally reported that services would go on despite the City’s coronavirus emergency declaration but Thursday night, the church posted an update stating details regarding the streaming services. The venue states 16,000 people.

Services will be broadcast on Facebook, YouTube, Roku, Apple TV, on the official Lakewood website and on Sirius XM channel 128 at the following times:

Saturday at 7:00 p.m.

Sunday at 8:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.

Sunday at 2:00 p.m. (Spanish Language Services)

Sunday at 7:00 p.m. (Young Adult Service)
