More American women are living with their partners before tying the knot.  According to a new National Center for Health Statistics poll, Between 2006 and 2010 nearly half of the women aged 15 to 44 “cohabited” with their partners without being married, compared with 43 percent who did so in 2002 and 34 percent in 1995.  But sharing a home doesn’t seem be inspiring couples to walk down the aisle.  Less than a quarter of the couples who lived together between 2006 and 2010 ended up married, compared to 30 percent in 2002 and 39 percent in 1995.  A quarter of women said that they had lived with a significant other by the time they were 20, and three-quarters had done so before turning 30.
