I found this article on bcnn1.com read it and tell me your thaughts: A new survey finds a majority of pastors with denominational affiliation believes it’s vital to be part of a denomination, but a smaller majority believes the importance of identifying with a denomination will diminish over the next ten years.

LifeWay Research says a recent study concludes that of more than 900 American Protestant pastors surveyed, three-quarters (76 percent) personally consider it vitally important to be part of a denomination. Despite the convictions of identity, however, nearly two-thirds of those pastors surveyed (62 percent) believe the importance of identifying with a denomination will decline over the next decade. click here to read more
