They say it always pays off to be a “good sport” about things! I feel it gets you further along in life.. not just sports.
New Orleans Saints quaterback Drew Brees is the 2010 “Sports Illustrated’s” Sportsman Of the Year. The annual honor is given to the athlete who excels in endeavors both on and off the field.
Brees led the Saints to thier first Super Bowl title last season. He was named the Super Bowl 44 MVP after the Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 in Miami. He also established The Brees Dream Foundation to support cancer research and the education of children in need. The foundation also aids in civic recovery, as the Big Easy continues to rebound from the effects of Hurricane Katrina.
