A Missouri man was kicked out of church last weekend for dressing like Jesus Christ. Fox2Now.com is reporting that Neal Thompson wasn’t allowed inside when he attempted to visit St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Des Peres. Thompson has been visiting churches dressed as Jesus for the past 22 years hoping to, quote, “spread the word.” Unfortunately, the people at St. Paul’s didn’t want to hear his message, as they made him sit in the hallway while they called police. Authorities declined to file a report, noting that Thompson agreed to leave peacefully. Despite being rejected, Thompson says he forgives the folks at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and hopes they will be a little more welcoming the next time he tries to stop by.
