The Martin Luther King Memorial has only been several months, but will be getting a makeover to fix the quote on the side of the memorial.

Yesterday was all about echoes. Echoes from voices past continuing into beyond. A sea of tens of thousands cheer and chanting as they looked up at video monitors showing the first family walking down a pathway of Martin Luther King’s most inspiring quotes en route to a ceremony to dedicate a memorial to honor his legacy.

The date was set in consultation with the White House as President Barack Obama is expected to speak at the ceremony.

WASHINGTON — District of Columbia residents and anyone else who wants to will have a chance to visit the new Martin Luther King Jr. memorial in Washington before it is officially dedicated.
