Avengers: Doomsday” Nets $16.5 Million In Advance Sales Through 24 Hours
(Undated) — “Avengers: Doomsday” is already racking up the millions from advance ticket sales. The fifth installment in the Marvel Studios franchise brought in 16-and-a-half-million-dollars in the first 24 hours since becoming available. Tickets are only currently available for one-thousand screens domestically and the movie will play on more than four-thousand screens when it releases on December 18th. Tickets went on sale alongside the release of the film’s first full trailer, which shows the return of Captain America and a gathering of heroes as they prepare to face off against Dr. Doom.
Robocop’ Reboot Series Picked Up At Amazon Prime
Amazon Prime Video has officially picked up a “Robocop” television series. The project has been in development since Amazon acquired MGM in 2022. The show will follow a “giant tech conglomerate” that “convinces the city to place a powerful robot on its police force” that has the consciousness of a “beloved, fallen officer.” The project has an eight-episode order, and no other details surrounding its release has been given.
Topps To Print Card Of Iconic Messi-Yamal Moment

Topps announced Monday that the picture of Argentina’s Lionel Messi holding Spain’s Lamine Yamal as an infant will be issued as a one-of-one Stadium Club Card. Messi was photographed with Yamal as part of a photoshoot for UNICEF while he was playing for Barcelona. The current Inter Miami star met the now-19-year-old future face of soccer in Sunday’s World Cup final.
San Diego Comic-Con Set To Kick Off This Week
San Diego Comic-Con is back. The annual event will be held at the San Diego Convention Center from July 23rd to July 26th, with a preview night set for tomorrow. Comic-Con is a premier showcase for all things comics and pop culture related from television to movies, gaming and more. There will be no shortage of activities with a multitude of exhibits, games, films and autograph signings available for visitors. Over 40 special guests, including comic authors and cartoonists, will appear during the event.
