Social Media Companies Might Be Billed For Student Mental Health
(Los Angeles, CA) — A lawsuit by school districts is demanding that social media companies help pay for student mental health services. More than one-thousand school districts nationwide argue that social media platforms harm students’ mental health and force schools to spend more on counseling and support. Districts say they’ve also had to increase training to address rising student anxiety and depression linked to social media use.

(Undated) — Consumer advice website WalletHub is out this week with its rankings of the best American cities for recreation. WalletHub looked at 100 of the largest U.S. cities and considered statistics in 47 metrics, including the number of public beaches, fishing spots and restaurants per capita, the costs associated with enjoying such activities and the quality of parks and playgrounds. Las Vegas came in first, followed by Orlando, Cincinnati, and Atlanta. Jersey City, New Jersey ranked last.
Top States For Business In 2026
(Undated) — Ohio is being named the top state for business in 2026. CNBC created its list of “America’s Top States For Business 2026” based off factors such as infrastructure, economy, workforce, quality of life, cost of doing business, technology and innovation, and more. Those factors are used by states when trying to attract new businesses to their state. North Carolina and Virginia rounded out the top three, while Alaska and Hawaii took the bottom spots.
