Gen Z Still Gets Financial Support From Parents
A recent study says many Gen Zers are getting financial support from their parents. The 2026 Wells Fargo Money Study says 64-percent of parents with Gen Z children say their kids still rely on them financially, whether for money, housing or other support. Over half of those parents say that support is hurting their own finances. A 2021 study from the University of Buffalo and The New School found that the amount of Black adults who receive parental assistance is much lower than that of white adults.
NJ Leads Nation In Young Adults Living At Home With Parents
New Jersey leads the nation in the number of young adults living at home with their parents. Forty-four percent of New Jerseyans ages 18 to 34 are living with their folks, compared to 33-percent nationwide. The median sales price of a home in New Jersey was 558-thousand-dollars in February, 140-percent higher than the national median sales price. Realtors say that fact, plus job market uncertainty, inflation and student loan debt are fueling the young adults at home trend, driving demand for in-law suites and finished basements with separate entrances.
20% Of Workers Say AI Has Taken Over Parts Of Their Job
Some 20 percent of full-time American workers say artificial intelligence has taken over parts of their job. The survey from Epoch AI and Ipsos found that 20 percent said AI is doing things they used to do themselves. About 15 percent say AI has created new tasks for them that they wouldn’t have done otherwise.

Regal Cineworld is launching a new AI-powered moviegoing tool. The app allows users to ask different questions and receive real-time results, including movie details, formats and screening options. Users are then directed to the Regal’s website to complete ticket purchases. Regal is the first major exhibitor to roll out an app within ChatGPT to streamline film discovery and ticket prices. The company says the tool will help making selecting showtimes, seats and tickets more efficient.
