Crosspointe Community Church Deacon Richard Pryor Is Now ?

Richard Pryor, a deacon at Crosspointe Community Church in Wayne, Michigan, is now the owner of a brand new Ford F-150 pickup truck. He was gifted the truck by Jack Demmer Ford, a local dealership, after he used his old F-150 to stop a gunman from entering the church during a service last month. 

Pryor’s quick thinking and decisive action are credited with helping to prevent a mass shooting. He rammed the gunman with his truck, giving armed security staff time to respond and neutralize the threat. Pryor’s old truck was damaged in the incident, and he had been without a vehicle for weeks. The new F-150 is a 2025 model and was given to Pryor on a two-year lease

I can’t be more than enough thankful for everybody’s support, the Lord was definitely involved in the events of that Sunday,” said Pryor. “Everything that’s transpired afterwards and how everybody’s reached out, Jack Demmer, Ford, it’s been more than expected, so I can’t be more than appreciative, just thank you to everybody.”
