Kirk Franklin At Concord Mills

Source: Tonya Jameson

Kirk Franklin‘s “20 Years In One Night” tour might go down in history. Only taking a 10-minute or so break in between the 2+ hour shows, it’s full of energy, totally interactive and completely reminiscent. Nevermind the fact that you don’t even realize how many hits Kirk Franklin has until you attend a concert and sing every one, but he’s actually jumping into the audience during shows to take pictures and perform them.

He’s even recruiting singers from their respective residences to hit the stage. Anthony Brown, Clifton Ross III & Jeremiah Hicks in D.C.; Janice Gaines in Nashville; Jonathan McReynolds in Chicago; Lonnie Hunter in Philadelphia and more!

During his stop in Houston, Kirk tapped Zacardi Cortez to perform “Intercession.” Zacardi slayed each line of lyrics fed to him and let’s just say, it wasn’t fair!
