(HOUSTON) — A Houston Police Department officer was named Officer of the Year.
HPD Senior Police Officer Javier Calvillo is a 21-year veteran of HPD.
“I enjoy going to work; I have always loved my job,” Calvillo said. “I love helping people, especially the young people because I think we make a difference when you meet somebody.”
