Giving back to those who serve our country — Goodwill Industries is committing to help 3,000 women transition back into civilian life after getting out of the military.
Among those the charity has already helped is Navy veteran Juanita Williams.
After moving to Houston from Atlanta, Goodwill helped Williams land a stable job as an ophthalmologist assistant at the Bellaire Eye Care Clinic.
“When I got out of the military, I needed someone to help me not feel sorry for myself, but to aid me into gaining great employment, helping me sustain life outside of the military,” Williams said.
