Are you harboring a grudge against a friend or family member?
Offering forgiveness to someone who hurt you does not legitimize what they did to you, but rather illustrates Christ’s love for that person–and yourself! God has promised to fight your battles for you. You don’t have to avenge those troubles yourself. No matter how bad that person hurt you, you can be sure when you forgive that God will ensure those wounds are healed so you can come into the new thing He wants to do in your life.
We pray today that you are able to show love for others through the redemptive power of forgiveness!
