According to police, a 4-month-old baby who was allegedly taken by her mother’s boyfriend was found safe at a hotel in Galveston Tuesday evening.
Police said they took the suspect, 32-year-old Byron Earl Gee, into custody just after 8 p.m. Tuesday.
They found the baby at the Mariner Hotel in Galveston around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The baby is reportedly doing well. We will have more on this story as details become available.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 4-month-old girl.
Stephanie Lavette Phillip was abducted by her mother’s boyfriend, Byron Gee, 26. He is driving in a stolen white 1999 Ford Expedition, Texas license plate DK3N645, according to police.
Gee is a black male, standing at 5-feet-8-inches tall, last seen wearing black pants and shirt, with no shoes. Stephanie is a black child. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and diaper.
