During a makeshift car show over the weekend, a man was stabbed and later died from his injuries. Now authorities are searching for the suspect or suspects responsible for the stabbing.

The incident occurred at at a large parking lot off Airline Drive. People gathered to view cars. Then a fight broke out and a man began slashing tires of vehicles. That man who was slashing tires of cars then got into a car and was was chased down the street just before 1:00 a.m. Monday.

Eyewitness accounts indicate that a Toyota Corolla and a pickup truck, sped away on W. Canino. Both came to a stop a short time later after one of the cars crashed into a dead end at Interstate 45.

According to police, the drivers and passengers started fighting again, now with knives as weapons. Two men were reportedly stabbed and one of the men went to the hospital for his wounds. That man later died at the hospital. The investigation is ongoing into the incident. Police are looking for the suspect.
