Opening statements are set for Friday in the trial of a second man accused of murdering an Atascocita father.
Donald Frye was shot and killed in the driveway of his home in April of last year. Reports indicate that Giovanni Mora, Bobby Jones, and Bruce Taylor were attempting to carjack Frye’s car.
Jones has already been sentenced to life in prison and Mora’s trial began this week. He is also charged with capital murder; prosecutors however, are not seeking the death penalty.
