NEWS92FM.com – The State Department is basically renewing a warning issued last year reminding Americans about some of the dangers in that country.

U.S. State Department spokesman Ken Chavez says people should exercise caution depending on what part of Mexico they plan to visit. Chavez emphasizes they are not saying don’t visit the country. “Millions of U.S. citizens travel safely to Mexico each year for study, tourism and business including more than 150-thousand who cross the border every day,” Chavez says. “We are not saying not to travel there, all we are doing is providing information to people who do plan to travel there.”
