On February 18, 2012 GMC TV presents an original GMC Premiere Movie ‘A Cross to Bear,” starring Kim Fields as Joan Blackford, Danielle Deadwyler, Malinda Williams and Jackie Long. “A Cross to Bear,” airs at 7:00 p.m. EST, with encores at 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
The inspirational drama also features the appearance of Angie Stone and Kenny Lattimore. Based on an original screenplay by Cas Sigers Beedles and Terri J. Vaughn, who also serve as producers along with Tandra Potts – also director, “A Cross to Bear” is about Erica (Deadwyler) a would-be dancer fighting alcoholism that gets “tough love” from Joan (Fields) at Joan’s House.
