Sinbad sure gets around. The comedian born David Adkins had a career slump for a minute, but he’s back with a vengeance courtesy of with his reality show, “Sinbad: It’s Just Family,” on the WEtv network and a slew of performance dates.
The veteran funnyman is using his found-again fame for a good cause this weekend. On Friday, Aug. 19, he’s heading to Texas Southern University, one of the nation’s largest historically black collges and universities, for a comedy show that will benefit students at the school.
