Both Style and Vh1 had reasons to celebrate after Monday’s ratings numbers rolled in, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The new “Tia & Tamera” reality show premiere and the “Basketball Wives” season finale each broke records for their respective networks.
Style reports that the Mowry twins attracted 757,000 viewers to Monday’s 9 p.m. airing. Its encore presentation at 10 p.m. performed almost as well, bringing the total viewers for the premiere episode to 1.5 million viewers. That made it the network’s most watched series launch ever among Women’s demos 18-49 and 18-34. As previously reported, the series follows the famous twins as Tia goes through her first pregnancy and Tamera plans her wedding.
