African Americans have the highest rate of total TV usage, according to the Nielsen State of the Media report, which was released on Wednesday and breaks down viewing trends by ethnicity, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
In November 2010, when the data was compiled, African Americans used their TVs an average of 7 hours, 12 minutes each day — above the U.S. average of 5 hours, 11 minutes. Asians watched TV the least, at just 3 hours and 14 minutes a day on average.
