HOUSTON – At least one person is dead after a crash between a sedan and an 18-wheeler on the North Loop near the Eastex Freeway.
The crash tied up eastbound traffic for several hours on Thursday morning.
According to the Houston Police Department, the 18-wheeler collided with a silver Jaguar just before 9 a.m.
All eastbound main lanes of 610 remained closed until 12:20 p.m. Traffic has since returned to normal in the area.
