Like 17-year-old Ashton Crowther of Channelview, who has been selected as one of eight teens for Aéropostale’s 2010 Real Teens Campaign. Each of the winners receive a $5,000 college scholarship and be featured in Aéropostale’s fall 2010 marketing campaign. Some 6,000 teens entered the campaign search, which was conducted nationwide online searlier this year. The top 87 finalists were then judged by a panel of industry celebrities, then the eight finalists were chosen. The teens were chosen for their good looks, of course, but also for their community service and talents. Trey Clanton, 17, of Rowlett, near Dallas was the other Texas winner. Aéropostale will unveil the “Real Teens 2010” campaign this week in its retail stores across the country as well as online at http://www.aeropostale.com.
