British Petroleum, the company behind what has amounted to the worst oil spill in US history, admitted today that the “Top Kill” plan did not work according to Chron.com.
The plan envolved shooting heavy mud into the leaking pipe but the pressure was just too strong cited one expert. COO Don Suttles said that they are now moving on to their next plan which involves using a robot to saw into the pipe and cap it.
