*Based on the life of Reverence Gospel Media founder Galley Molina, Ja Rule will play the role of Miles Montego, a wealthy former drug dealer who has gone straight, in upcoming film ‘I’m in Love with a Church Girl.’
While straddling the fence of his old life and trying to do right, Montego falls in love with church girl, Vanessa (Adrienne Bailon) and causes him to rethink his life path.
“This film is simply about the Power of God in a man’s life,” said Molina. “The unique part of this story aside from being based and inspired on my real life experiences is that I wrote it while I was incarcerated in a Federal Prison on Drug Trafficking charges…We’re tremendously excited to have Ja Rule and Adrienne Bailon on board for ‘Church Girl’ – two extremely gifted performers who will bring the story to life.”
