Men Take “Idol” Stage, Health Scare Pushes Women To Wednesday

(Undated)  —  Drama welcomed FOX’s “American Idol” back to the stage Tuesday night.  Female finalist Crystal Bowersox was hospitalized earlier in the day with diabetes complications, meaning the remaining ten men had to take the stage.  The unexpected news didn’t shake Michael Lynche, who impressed the judges with his rendition of James Brown’s “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World.”

While the judges were once again difficult on the men, there were a few finalists who earned their praise.  Alex Lambert’s rendition of John Legend’s “Everybody Knows” was well received, as was Lee Dewyze’s performance of Hinder’s “Lips of an Angel.”  Crystal Bowersox and the rest of the female finalists will return to the stage tonight for their chance to woo the viewing public.  On Thursday, two men and two women will see their dream of becoming the next “American Idol” come to an end.  All-new episodes of “American Idol” can bee seen all week at 8 p.m. Eastern on Fox.
