Benny Hinn, a televangelist who brings in millions of dollars annually, has some explaining to do to his followers since his wife of 30 years, Suzanne Harthern, has filed for divorce.
Hinn, who preaches that those who are right with God will receive great wealth and good health in this life, is a controversial figure among Pentecostal preachers due to his lavish lifestyle.
Hinn’s wife, who is represented by prominent LA divorce attorney Sorrell Trope, filed divorce papers with the Orange County Superior Court on Feb. 1 for irreconcilable differences. Hinn’s many followers will likely want to know why their
leader, so blessed with wealth, health and a seemingly loving family, is going through a divorce. According to papers, the two have been split since Jan. 26.
