VIA KHOU.com: HOUSTON — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two men accused of terrorizing a southwest Houston family in a home invasion robbery.

A man and his wife were at home with their daughter and her infant son on Jan. 16, when two armed men kicked in a back door at about 6:20 p.m., investigators said.

When the husband stepped in front of his wife to protect her after hearing her screams, one of the men hit him in the face with a gun, knocking him to the floor, police said.  Police said the other man used duct tape to bind both the husband’s and wife’s hands and feet, before placing tape over their eyes and mouths.

The men then confronted the couple’s daughter who was in the living room with her son, police said.  They forced her to guide them through the house as they searched for items to take, then loaded everything up and fled, police said.

Crime Stoppers said it will pay up to $5,000 for any information that leads to the identification, charging or arrest of either suspect in the case.  Tips can be submitted anonymously by calling 713-222-8477, visiting www.crime-stoppers.org, or via text message, by texting TIP610 plus your tip to CRIMES.
