Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

In these verses, the word anxious means to fret or worry. So here we are told not to worry or fret about anything. It goes on to say that in every thing by prayer, let your request be made known to God.

When let a request be made known unto God, once you have done that, you should not worry.

Too many Christians today still are bound by worry. The verse go on to say that the peace of God will guard and keep your heart and mind. Believers still worry because they do not truly believe God’s Word. When you get to the place where you trust in God’s Word then you do not have to worry because what you have prayed about is taken care of!
