“Top Chef” vet Carla Hall is preparing for her daytime TV debut next month as part of ABC’s “The Chew,” alongside co-hosts Clinton Kelly of TLC’s “What Not to Wear,” celebrity chef Mario Batali and Dr. Oz’s daughter Daphne Oz. But the program already has a contingent of haters among soap fans because it replaces longtime soap “All My Children.”
Presented as a food version of “The View,” “The Chew” will include “field pieces, food stories, and explore the world through a food lens,” notes executive producer Gordon Elliott.
