A Long Island, New York high school student who was accepted into 12 colleges, including all eight Ivies, plans to attend Harvard University in the fall.
According to Harvard's current President Drew Faust, the university “was directly complicit in America’s system of racial bondage,” and a new plaque that lists the names of slaves who worked on campus is meant to remember “stolen lives.”
