It is so hard to keep one’s life in a forward movement when there is so much pushing against it. Many times we think it’s just us or just one person or type of people but the reality is, pressure to move beyond the past and present scenarios of life can be very discouraging. With that said I want to say this that the very evidence of life is forward movement. The thing that makes life worth living is the ability to move forward. So having the ability to do so and actually doing it becomes a challenge that we have to overcome no matter what. Because everything about Gods’ nature speaks to what’s in front of you and not what’s behind you. Even when you look at how your body was design all communication is fixed on the front of your body not the back. Your ears, your eyes, your mouth, and even your feet all point forward. It is Gods’ will that you stay in a forward movement not backwards and not even staying in the same place but you have to be willing to accept the fact that God wants you moving forward.
There are three things that you have to consider when moving forward in life which involves forgetting past failures and holding on to certain patterns that bring forth success. I have list three things to consider about forward movement:
FORGET ABOUT THE PAST AND LET IT GO – PAUL SAID FORGET THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE BEHIND; YOU HAVE TO LET GO TO MOVE ON
ALLOW FOR PROGRESSION – THIS MEANS TO MOVE WITH A SUCCESSFUL PATTERN, GROWING AS YOU GO
STAY CONSISTANT IN YOUR EFFORTS – FAITH FOR THE JOURNEY, IS A STEADY COMMITMENT TO THE PLAN OF GOD
This combo of efforts will help allow for your life to have a continuous forward movement. Never be afraid to add on more efforts that will round off your list for you but I wanted to at least get you started.
Furthermore it’s important that you remember things in life don’t always cooperate with you or the way you think. There are dream killers, there are setbacks in life, and sometimes let’s face it we are just too tired or lazy and want to quit. So remember in order to move forward you have got to be willing to fight. This means you have to be consistent about the plan of God for your life not quitting or changing the original plan He designed for you. Paul said it this way, “Don’t be weary in well doing.” Also remember that when you fight you have to fight to win. So many times we get into battles with circumstances and situations that we have no intuition to win but you have to change that mentality. People that are looking to win prepare for battles before they arrive. So never sit back and wait on a financial, relationship, or family dilemma but start now making preparation for challenges and your life will continue to move forward. I believe it was Robert C. Gallagher that said, “Even if you fall on your face, you’re still moving forward.”
