Early voting locations in Harris County

Early voting began on October 19th  for Houston’s mayor, City Council and controller, 11 proposed state constitutional amendments, Bellaire municipal offices, community college and public school boards and more.

At the forefront of the Houston election is the choice of a new mayor to replace term-limited Bill White in one of the nation’s most powerful municipal offices. Many observers say they expect turnout to be well below that of the last contested mayoral race in 2003, when White was elected to his first term.

Early voting will take place at 37 Harris County locations under the supervision of Harris County Clerk Beverly Kaufman’s office. The election is Nov. 3.

Early voting hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 26 through Oct. 30.
