Texans Visit Chiefs On Sunday Night Football

The Texans are closing in on their Week 14 matchup.  Houston visits the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium.  The team has placed defensive tackle Tim Settle Jr. on injured reserve and claimed cornerback Ja’Marcus Ingram off waivers from the Buffalo Bills.  The Texans are third in the AFC South at 7-and-5.  In other news, Azeez Al-Shaair has been named the team’s nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

Lions Down Cowboys In Shootout

The Lions took down the Cowboys 44-30 at home to begin the NFL week.  Jared Goff threw for 309 yards and a touchdown in the victory.  David Montgomery rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown, while Jahmyr Gibbs carried the ball 12 times for 43 yards and three scores.  The Lions improved to 8-and-5 with the win.  Dak Prescott completed 31 of 47 passes for 376 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions in the Dallas setback.  CeeDee Lamb caught six passes for 121 yards before leaving with a concussion and Ryan Flournoy added nine catches for 115 yards and a score.  The Cowboys had their three-game winning streak snapped to fall to 6-6-and-1 on the year.

Browns Open Practice Window For Deshaun Watson

The quarterback carousel in Cleveland is about to add another contestant.  The Browns opened the practice window for Deshaun Watson on Wednesday.  The team has 21 days to add him to the active roster.  The 30-year-old was dealing with an Achilles injury he suffered last season and re-tore it, which required a second surgery.  Watson has played just 19 games for Cleveland due to injuries or suspension since 2022.
