A cold front blew into Texas mid-Sunday evening and left the majority of the state blanketed in snow and without power.

As of February 18, there are 499K Texans who are currently without power, an improvement after more than 4 million were without power earlier in the week. CenterPoint reported 107,000 customers were without power on Thursday morning.

The Texas Public Utility Commission issued an order late Wednesday (February 17) mandating all electric transmission and distribution utilities to perform rolling blackouts in a way so no customer is without power for more than 12 hours.
