Ordinary people who long to become Hollywood stars may soon get their chance, courtesy of “American Idol” creator Simon Fuller.  The Los Angeles “Times” reports Fuller is launching a new project, entitled, “If I Can Dream.”  It’s described as a, quote, “Web-based series that also will explore the desire of ordinary people to become Hollywood stars.”  The program will reportedly document the story of five young people who dream of success in Hollywood.  It will allow viewers to interact with the individuals and narrative in real time, and can be seen live 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  The series is scheduled to begin on multiple platforms including online, radio, TV and mobile handsets sometime early next year.
