I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about our dinner plans. I told her I was making salmon and she was like cool. At the time she hadn’t decided what she was going to do, but when I called her a little later and I asked her what she had decided and she said that she had ordered pizza delivery…that she had made up her mind because she saw the pizza commercial and it resonated with her.
So that got me thinking. One, advertising still works. The other thing? What if your praise, your relationship with God, or the way you carry yourself was the only advertisement that someone saw for Jesus Christ? Would they want him based on what they see in you?
Just encouraging all of us to do what the Bible says – Let your light shine so that would cause others to glorify God.
Today let’s all strive to be the best advertisement for God as we possibly can. Someone may ask him to come into their lives as Savior, and how awesome that would be.
Matthew 5:16 (KJV) – Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
