Maurette's "Inspiration that Sticks"

Source: Maurette / Maurette

This weekend I went indoor skydiving with my family. And I have to admit that I was all for it while we were making the reservation. But when the time got closer, I felt a bit apprehensive. What if I got hurt? What if something went wrong? What if a good idea turned into a bad one?

So what happened? I conquered my fear, took a leap and I jumped. And i flew. That’s what we have to learn to do in the body of Christ. I leaped, trusting that God would protect me, and shield me from any hurt harm or danger. And it turned out to be one of the funnest things I’ve ever done and a joy to do with my family. Not to mention, my kids were impressed and happy.

Moral of the story? Try something different sometime. Don’t be afraid. You never know the blessing you may miss if you don’t.

Joshua 1:9 (NIV) – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
