The host was chosen, the performances were lined-up, tickets were sold, but BET still cancelled the “Celebration of Gospel Live” and fans are not happy.
Follow @GetUpEricaAccording to uGospel.com the show was coming to Atlanta in August in a first-ever television event. “Celebration of Gospel Live” was supposed to be hosted by comedian and actor Jonathan Slocumb at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
Fans were going to be able to experience live performances by Donnie McClurkin, Deitrick Haddon and more. BET has yet to send out a statement as to why the show was cancelled, but we will keep you posted if they do.
