NEWS 92 FM EXCLUSIVE — (HOUSTON) —  An African American family wakes up to find Klu Klux Klan fliers on their lawn and across their neighborhood.

Damian Neveaux says he found the flier on his lawn Monday morning. The title “Seal the Border-Protect our Nation,” which he says he didn’t find offensive until he got to the bottom and found it was from the Ku Klux Klan.

Neveaux was shocked to say the least.

NEWS 92 FM’s Dennis Spellman reports:

“Katy is a pretty multicultural city so you would assume that everything is pretty fine and dandy between the races,” Neveaux said. “It seem we all gel together pretty well out here.”

Neveaux says he understands the concerns about border security but he does not believe the KKK is the group that will ever solve that issue.

He grew up in Port Author and says he’s seen the Klan in action.

“Your first thought is, ‘Wow, I’ve seen these guys do some pretty heinous acts over time,’” he said.

He lives in the Falcon Landing subdivision and says many of his neighbors are not originally from this country. His goal it to make sure they know the history of the Klan before they get involved in a group they know little about.
