Famed Christian televangelist Oral Roberts is hospitalized in Newport Beach, California, after suffering a bone-breaking fall Saturday. The 91-year-old founder and chancellor of the Tulsa, Oklahoma university and ministry that bear his name also has a slight case of pneumonia. Ministry publicist Melany Ethridge said the Roberts family appreciates prayers and trusts that their spiritual leader will make a, quote, “speedy and miraculous recovery.” Roberts is currently listed in stable condition.
